The Food and Meals Volunteer Team
The Food and Meals Volunteer Team assisted in ensuring that food was correctly prepared and served.  Some volunteers were also needed for clean-up and setup.

Hours and Location
The Food and Meals Volunteer Team worked 4 or more hours per day during Canoe Journey, divided into 4 – 6 hour shifts beginning July 29th through August 5th.  Volunteers checked in at the volunteer site before starting work.

Training Requirements
Cultural sensitivity awareness training was required for all volunteers.  In addition,  some of these positions required a food handlers card.

Food handler’s cards are now available online!
