Medical Volunteer

The Medical Volunteer Team
The Medical Volunteer Team’s purpose was to provide medical support in emergency situations occurring during the Canoe Journey.  Doctors, RNs ARNPs and PAs were encouraged to volunteer. (There were additional Medical Response teams being organized by the Red Cross and the Medical Reserve Corps.)

Hours and Location
The Medical Volunteer Team worked in 6-hour shifts beginning July 29th through August 5th.  The Medical Team were situated in a tent at the Health Clinic, but medical volunteers were all checked in at the Volunteer Center.

Consent for Reference and Background Check
Certification/Licensing Checklist and supporting documents

Hard copies of the above form(s) were obtained at the front desk of the Tribal Administration Building.
